RBT Computers is a small, family business located in Dunfermline,
Fife, Scotland.
We offer two main kinds of service: a local, mobile computer
repair and upgrade service and website design and hosting and computer sales to
the rest of the world.

fee basis and we are happy to provide free, no obligation estimates
on all work.

In time we will offer dedicated e-mail assistance for your

providing downloadable help documents, fact sheets and tutorials in easy to
understand, plain English, again at very reasonable prices.

We have tried, throughout this
website, to make it as friendly as possible to those with little or
no knowledge of computers. People who know they want a website but
don't know where to begin, people who know that their computer needs
upgrading but have no idea what upgrades are available or even what
is inside their computer to upgrade.
If this is you then we hope to
make you welcome and not baffle you with technical terminology and
bizarre naming conventions. We will endeavour to explain things in
plain English and, where it is not possible to avoid complicated
jargon and terminology, we will explain in plain English what it
means.
We will be happy to offer you
advice and assistance on any of the services we provide. If you do
not know where to begin, let us know and we will try and help you.
All we ask is that if you are
just after a little help and advice, please e-mail us as we can
answer in our spare time.
As many of our jobs are on an
appointment basis, we would hate to miss an appointment and
disappoint a customer (and possibly lose money!) because we were
debating the finer points of SATA hard drives on the telephone.
We may also be able to better
help you if we can for example, e-mail a diagram or a picture to
you. There may also be problems that require a little research on
our part.
